Domestic B2B invoices have gone through Peppol since 1 January 2026.
Every VAT-registered business in Belgium now sends and receives structured domestic B2B invoices over Peppol. The tolerance period closed on 31 March 2026, and fines run from €1,500 to €5,000 for repeat breaches. In practice, sending usually works while incoming invoices are still opened, checked and entered by hand; that is where most recoverable hours sit. Devvion is not a Peppol access point; we link your ERP to the one you chose.

Near real-time e-reporting is proposed for 2028.
On 18 July 2026 the Council of Ministers approved a preliminary draft law: from 1 January 2028, invoice data would reach the tax authority almost live, over Peppol. As of October 2026 it isn't law yet. Clean invoice data pays off whichever way it lands.

Belgium's NIS2 law has applied since October 2024.
Belgium was one of the first countries to transpose NIS2. The law took effect on 18 October 2024, and registration with the CCB was due by 18 March 2025. In-scope firms now have to show their security measures work, which means evidence kept up to date.

Every purchase request follows a clear matrix: the amount decides who approves, a deputy covers absences, and the order goes to the supplier once approved. Nobody chases sign-offs by email. Example: approval wait cut from 5 days to 1.

- We're remote from Switzerland and Portugal, and book on-site weeks in Brussels, Flanders or Wallonia ahead of time. Brussels runs on Swiss time. Devvion has no office in Belgium.
- Business consulting assesses, maps and structures the work; forward-deployed engineering automates it. Forward-deployed means our engineer works inside your business, not from a ticket queue.
- We bring the discipline of large-enterprise operations down to your size. The people you meet stay on your work from the first day to the last.
- Our working language is English. Documentation can be delivered in French, and for Dutch-speaking teams we bring in a reviewer. You sign with Devvion Inc., incorporated in Delaware.

Can we hire you for consulting only?
Yes, Devvion does business consulting without automation: assessment, process maps, procedures, controls and KPIs, usually over 4 to 12 weeks. Automation follows only if it pays, with us or your own team.
Our teams work in French and Dutch. Is that a problem?
No, Devvion works in English and delivers documentation in French, with a reviewer for Dutch-speaking teams. We start from one shared process, and each team follows it in its own language.
What stays with us when you leave?
Devvion hands over everything we build: process maps, procedures, the automations in your own accounts and the documentation to run them. Your team is trained on each one before we step back. An optional run retainer covers monitoring and new automations.
Do you work with Exact Online, Odoo or WinBooks?
Devvion works in Belgium with Exact Online, Odoo, WinBooks, Yuki and other accounting tools. You keep your software; we automate around it.
Where do you put AI?
Devvion adds AI only where someone reads a document and makes a call, like a document without a reference or a supplier email to sort. Everything else runs on explicit rules.
Where do we begin with you?
Devvion kicks off with the two-week assessment: interviews, a system inventory, a maturity score per process, an overhead number and ranked opportunities. It's a fixed fee, credited if you continue. Consulting then runs 4 to 12 weeks, engineering 6 to 16.
