Lower overhead in Switzerland.

From the first assessment to the last automation. We operate from Switzerland. We step in to assess and map how the work really runs, structure it, then automate the steps nobody should do by hand, inside your systems. The people you meet stay on your work from the first day to the last.

02 · What we see in Switzerland

What we see in Switzerland

  • Every hour is expensive.

Swiss salaries make admin and rework costly, and hiring takes months. Most firms we meet would rather give their current team its hours back than add another person to the back office.

  • One company, several regions and languages.

Teams in Zurich, Geneva and Ticino often run the same process in different ways and different languages. Standardising it once, with clear owners, makes the next site or acquisition far simpler.

  • Quality culture, documentation that lags.

Swiss firms hold themselves to high standards, but the procedures behind them often live in people's heads. When a certification, a bank or a key customer asks for evidence, the scramble starts.

03 · Local rules we design for

Local rules we design for

  • Old QR-bill templates stop working on 14 November 2026.

Since 22 November 2025, Swiss QR-bills may carry only structured addresses, with street, postcode and town in separate fields. From 14 November 2026, standing orders and payment templates built on the old combined format will no longer be processed. Customer data kept in free-text address fields has to be split, record by record, starting with recurring bills such as rents and instalments. We are not a payment provider; we connect your ERP to your bank and eBill network.

  • The revised FADP can fine people, not only companies.

The revised Federal Act on Data Protection has applied since 1 September 2023. It expects a record of processing activities, and fines of up to CHF 250,000 can fall on the responsible individual. Any automation that reads customer or staff data should leave a trace of what it touched.

  • Critical infrastructure must report cyberattacks within 24 hours.

Since 1 April 2025, operators of critical infrastructure report cyberattacks to the Federal Office for Cyber Security within 24 hours of discovery. Fines for missed reports have applied since 1 October 2025. Their suppliers are often asked for the same speed.

  • The EU AI Act can reach Swiss companies.

It can apply if you put AI systems on the EU market or their output is used in the EU. Your counsel decides scope. We document every AI step we build, which shortens that conversation.

04 · Where we usually start

Where we usually start

  1. One process, one way, across every site

We map how a core process runs in each office, agree the version that works best, and write it down with owners, controls and KPIs in the languages your teams use. The next site starts from a standard, not from scratch.

  2. New hires productive in their first week

When a hire is confirmed, accounts, equipment and the first-week plan are requested in one step, each with an owner and a date. The manager confirms the person is ready to work. Hiring takes months in Switzerland; the first weeks shouldn't be lost to waiting.

  3. A processing register that keeps itself current

Each automation we build writes which personal data it uses, for what purpose and who can see it into your register. When a person asks for their data, the search runs across systems instead of inboxes.

05 · How we work with teams in Switzerland

How we work with teams in Switzerland

  • Part of our team operates from Switzerland, so on-site weeks are a train ride away rather than a flight. We keep your hours and your holidays. Most of the work happens remotely.
  • Business consulting assesses, maps and structures the work; forward-deployed engineering automates it. Forward-deployed means our engineer works inside your business, not from a ticket queue.
  • We bring the discipline of large-enterprise operations down to your size. The people you meet stay on your work from the first day to the last.
  • We work in English and can deliver documentation in French; where German is needed, we say so at the start and agree a reviewer with you. You contract with Devvion Inc., a Delaware company.

06 · Questions from companies in Switzerland

Questions from companies in Switzerland

  • Is Devvion a Swiss company?

Devvion Inc. is a Delaware company, and part of our team operates from Switzerland. Contracts come from Devvion Inc. In practice you get Swiss working hours, on-site weeks without long travel, and the same people from start to finish.

  • Can we hire you for consulting without automation?

Yes, Devvion does business consulting on its own: assessment, process maps, procedures, controls and KPIs, usually over 4 to 12 weeks. If automation makes sense afterwards, we can build it, or your own team can.

  • Do you work with Abacus or Bexio?

Devvion builds automation in Switzerland around the software you already run, including Abacus, Bexio, SAP Business One and Dynamics 365 Business Central. We add the steps around your ERP; we don't ask you to replace it.

  • Can you make us FADP compliant?

Devvion doesn't certify compliance with the revised FADP; your data protection adviser decides what is required. We make sure the automations we build run inside your accounts, log the personal data they touch and keep your register current.

  • Where does AI actually help?

Devvion uses AI in Swiss engagements only where a person reads something and decides, such as an unstructured document or an email request that needs routing. Everything else is rules-based automation, which costs less to run and is easier to audit.

  • What does the first step look like?

Devvion opens with the two-week assessment: interviews, a system inventory, a maturity score per process, an overhead number and ranked opportunities. It's a fixed fee that counts toward the work if you continue. Consulting then runs 4 to 12 weeks, engineering 6 to 16.
