Lower overhead in the Netherlands.

And audit-ready operations. We step in to map how the work really runs, tighten the process and controls, then automate what keeps coming back, inside your own systems. The people you meet stay on your work from the first day to the last.

02 · What we see in the Netherlands

What we see in the Netherlands

  • Every hour of admin is expensive.

With high labour costs and tight hiring markets, Dutch firms feel each hour of re-keying and chasing. Growth tends to mean another hire in the back office. We look for the hours that can come back first.

  • Digitally mature, but spread across too many tools.

Most teams adopted cloud software early, one department at a time. The result is a dozen subscriptions that don't share data, and people copying between them. Consolidating and connecting usually beats adding another tool.

  • Customers ask for proof.

Larger customers and government buyers send security questionnaires and ask how your processes are controlled. Answering takes days when the evidence is scattered, and minutes when it is collected as part of the work.

  • The Cyberbeveiligingswet has applied since 15 August 2026.

The Dutch NIS2 law, the Cbw, took effect on 15 August 2026, after the Senate approved it on 7 July. More than 8,000 organisations are expected to fall under it. They must register, report significant incidents and show their risk measures work, with board members accountable. The law's criteria and your counsel decide scope.

  • AI Act transparency rules apply from August 2026; high-risk duties moved to 2027.

The EU's AI omnibus entered into force on 27 July 2026. It kept the 2 August 2026 date for most transparency obligations, such as telling people they are dealing with a chatbot, and moved stand-alone high-risk obligations to 2 December 2027. Firms that already use AI in HR or customer service need to know where it sits.

  • A domestic B2B e-invoicing mandate is being prepared for around 2030.

In March 2026 the Ministry of Finance sent Parliament an analysis that recommends Peppol-based e-invoicing for domestic B2B sales, possibly from around 1 January 2030, alongside the EU ViDA rules from July 2030. Draft legislation is expected for consultation at the end of 2026. Nothing is final, but government buyers already expect e-invoices. • GDPR (AVG).

We work inside your systems and accounts and document the personal data each automation uses. We hold no GDPR certification; your privacy officer stays in charge.

04 · Where we usually start

Where we usually start

  1. Tool consolidation and access governance

We list every tool and subscription, who uses it and what data it holds, then agree which to keep, merge or retire, and who approves access. Fewer tools, fewer licences, fewer copies of the same data.

Tools: Microsoft Entra ID · Microsoft 365

  2. Cbw evidence gathered from your own tools

Access reviews, incident tickets, backups and supplier checks are pulled into one register automatically. When a supervisor or customer asks, the answer is a report, not a project.

Tools: Microsoft Entra ID · TOPdesk · Jira Service Management

  3. New hires set up before their first day

Once a contract is signed, accounts, equipment and the first-week plan are requested in one go, each with an owner and a date. Access follows the role, so leavers lose it the same way. Example: time to a working setup from 10 days to 2.

Tools: AFAS · Microsoft Entra ID · Microsoft 365

05 · How we work with teams in the Netherlands

How we work with teams in the Netherlands

  • We work remotely from Switzerland and Portugal and come to your site for planned weeks. The Netherlands shares a time zone with our Swiss side. Devvion has no Dutch office.
  • Business consulting assesses, maps and structures the work; forward-deployed engineering automates it. Forward-deployed means our engineer works inside your business, not from a ticket queue.
  • The people you meet stay on your work from the first day to the last. Every AI step we build is logged with its purpose, data and human check.
  • We work in English, which most Dutch operations teams use comfortably; where Dutch documentation is required, we arrange a reviewer. Devvion Inc., a Delaware corporation, is the contracting party.

06 · Questions from companies in the Netherlands

Questions from companies in the Netherlands

  • Can we buy consulting without automation?

Yes, Devvion offers business consulting on its own: the assessment, process maps, roles, controls and KPIs, usually over 4 to 12 weeks. Some Dutch clients then build with their own developers; others ask us to automate.

  • Are we in scope for the Cbw?

Devvion doesn't decide Cbw scope; the law's criteria and your counsel do. Once you know where you stand, we automate the evidence: registers, incident records, access reviews and supplier checks.

  • We have too many tools. Where do we begin?

Devvion begins with an inventory: every tool, its cost, its users and the data it holds. From there we agree what to keep, merge or retire, and connect what remains so people stop copying data between screens.

  • Do you work with Exact, AFAS or Twinfield?

Devvion builds around Exact Online, AFAS, Twinfield, Dynamics 365 Business Central and similar systems common in the Netherlands. You keep your software.

  • Will AI make decisions for us?

Devvion uses AI in Dutch engagements only where a person reads and judges, and keeps a person signing off where it matters. Everything else is rules, which are easier to explain to an auditor.

  • How do we start?

Devvion starts with the two-week assessment: interviews, a system inventory, a maturity score per process, an overhead number and ranked opportunities. It's a fixed fee, quoted for your situation and credited if you continue.
