Faster cycles in France.

And lower overhead, for growing companies. We step in to assess and map how the work really runs, structure it, then automate what repeats inside your systems. The people you meet stay on your work from the first day to the last.

02 · What we see in France

What we see in France

  • Every admin hour is expensive.

With high employment costs and slow hiring for support roles, each hour of re-keying or chasing counts. Growth too often means another back-office hire instead of a better process.

  • Family-run companies putting structure in.

Many mid-sized French firms are still run by the founder or the family. Decisions go through one or two people; a succession, an investor or a new managing director needs written roles, delegations and KPIs.

  • Several sites, several ways of working.

Between head office and regional branches, the same process is often done three different ways. Each new branch copies the workarounds instead of a standard.

03 · Local rules we design for

Local rules we design for

  • Every French business has had to accept e-invoices since 1 September 2026.

Receiving goes through an accredited platform, whatever the company's size. Large and mid-sized firms already issue e-invoices; smaller companies follow on 1 September 2027. A July 2026 decree kept that schedule.

  • Over a hundred accredited platforms, and your ERP has to talk to one.

The tax authority has published the official list of accredited platforms since 16 January 2026. Wiring the ERP to one, handling lifecycle statuses and working through rejections takes longer than picking it, and e-reporting for B2C and cross-border sales runs on the same calendar. Devvion is not an accredited platform; we connect your ERP to the one you chose.

  • NIS2 isn't French law yet, but customers ask for it anyway.

On 8 July 2026 the European Commission took France to the Court of Justice for failing to transpose NIS2. The national law is still pending. Large customers already put security clauses and evidence requests into supplier contracts.

  • GDPR.

We work inside your systems and accounts, so your data stays where it is, and document which personal data each automation touches. We don't certify GDPR compliance; your DPO stays in charge.

04 · Where we usually start

Where we usually start

  1. An approval matrix that unblocks sign-offs

We map who approves what today, find the steps waiting on one signature, and agree a clear matrix with limits and deputies. It is often the fastest gain, and it makes later automation simpler.

  2. A month-end close measured in days, not weeks

We map the close as it really runs, set a calendar with an owner for each step, and automate how figures come in from every site. Variances go to the right person and the management pack goes out on a fixed date. Example: close cut from 12 working days to 5.

    Tools: Sage 100 · Cegid · Pennylane

  3. Security evidence that builds up as you work

Access reviews, incidents and supplier checks are logged into a single register without anyone copying them over. When a customer sends a security questionnaire, the answers and proof are already filed.

Tools: Microsoft Entra ID · Jira Service Management

05 · How we work with teams in France

How we work with teams in France

  • We work remotely from Switzerland and Portugal and come on site in Paris or Lyon for set weeks. Our day lines up with Paris time, give or take an hour. There is no Devvion office in France.
  • Business consulting assesses, maps and structures the work; forward-deployed engineering automates it. Forward-deployed means our engineer works inside your business, not from a ticket queue.
  • We bring the discipline of large-enterprise operations down to your size. The people you meet stay on your work from the first day to the last.
  • We work in English, and documentation for your teams can be written in French. You contract with Devvion Inc., a Delaware corporation.

06 · Questions from companies in France

Questions from companies in France

  • Can we hire you for consulting without automation?

Yes, Devvion does business consulting on its own: assessment, process maps, procedures, delegations and KPIs, usually over 4 to 12 weeks. Automation is a separate decision, made once the numbers are clear, with us or your own team.

  • Who actually works on our project?

At Devvion, the people you meet at the start stay on your work to the end. We take on a few clients at a time, and our engineer works inside your business with your teams rather than from a ticket queue.

  • We're opening a new site. Where do we start?

Devvion starts by mapping the site that works best and turning it into a standard: procedures, roles, delegations and KPIs. The new site opens on that base instead of copying workarounds. Example: time to open a new branch cut by half.

  • Do you integrate with Sage, Cegid or Pennylane?

Devvion integrates with Sage 100, Cegid, Pennylane, SAP Business One and other ERPs used in France. We keep your accounting software and automate the steps around it.

  • What can AI do for our finance team?

Devvion uses AI in France only for reading-and-deciding work: an unclear document, a supplier email, a customer request to route. For the rest, ordinary automation is cheaper and more predictable.

  • What happens in the first month?

Devvion begins every French engagement with the two-week assessment: interviews, a system inventory, a maturity score per process, an overhead number and ranked opportunities. It's a fixed fee, credited if you go ahead. Consulting then runs 4 to 12 weeks, engineering 6 to 16.
