Questions

  • Which problems do you solve?

Devvion works on six outcomes owners and COOs ask for: lower overhead, faster cycles, visibility for leadership, readiness to scale, readiness for an audit or due diligence, and systems that fit the work. The use-case pages show how each one plays out by industry and situation.

  • Do you only do automation?

No. Devvion offers business consulting and forward-deployed engineering. Most engagements start with the two-week assessment and process design: who does what, how it should run, and how it is measured. Automation comes only where it pays, and some clients never need it.

  • What is a process maturity assessment?

It is how Devvion starts every engagement: two weeks of interviews and walk-throughs that score each process from 1 (ad hoc) to 5 (optimised), with the evidence behind each score. You also get as-is maps, the overhead and rework number, a top-10 opportunity list and a 90-day plan.

  • Which processes do you work on?

Devvion works across eight function areas: finance; sales and customer; operations and supply; people; projects and delivery; customer service; compliance and risk; and management, from KPI reporting to board packs. The assessment tells you which ones cost you most.

  • What is a forward-deployed engineer?

At Devvion, it means our engineer works inside your business, not from a ticket queue. The idea comes from how large AI and data companies deliver to their biggest accounts. The people you meet stay on your work from the first day to the last.

  • Forward-deployed engineering vs consulting: what's the difference?

Devvion does both. Consulting fixes how the business runs: roles, processes, controls, governance. Forward-deployed engineering builds the systems that run it: integrations, automation and AI inside your stack. Most clients buy consulting first and engineering when automation pays.

  • Is this management consulting?

Yes. Devvion's consulting is management and operations consulting by people with backgrounds in large-enterprise operations, IT audit and consulting. We have run operations, not only advised on them, and we stay until the new way of working holds.

  • How does your advisory retainer compare with a fractional COO?

Devvion doesn't sell a fractional COO title, but the advisory retainer covers similar ground: a fixed number of hours a month to run the operating rhythm, review KPIs, re-score maturity each quarter and keep improvements on track. Your own leadership keeps the decisions.

  • Can you help with ISO 9001 without automating anything?

Yes. Devvion can take you through ISO 9001 or ISO 27001 readiness with procedures, controls and evidence routines alone. The assessment includes a gap list against both standards. Certification itself comes from an accredited body; we get you ready for it.

  • How much does the assessment cost?

Devvion's two-week assessment is one fixed fee for a fixed scope. We share the figure on a first call once we know the size of the business, and if you continue with us the full fee is credited.

  • How are engagements priced?

Devvion prices in steps. The assessment is a fixed fee. Consulting is a fixed scope over 4 to 12 weeks. Engineering is monthly, with a three-month minimum and no hourly timesheets. After either, an optional retainer with capped hours. Figures come on a first call.

  • How long before we see results?

With Devvion you have the maturity score and the overhead number at the end of week two. In a typical engagement, the first process change or automation is live and measured by week six. We don't promise savings before the assessment, because any number before that is a guess.

  • Will this replace our employees?

No. Devvion removes work, not people, and we tell your team that on the first day. The hours that come back go to work that was being pushed aside: customers, quality, the projects nobody had time for.

  • Can we keep what you build?

Yes. Devvion works in your accounts from day one. Procedures, code, prompts, data and documentation belong to you, and we hand over every key and login when we step out.

  • What if our data is sensitive?

With Devvion it stays in your systems. We work inside your accounts with the access you grant, log what we touch, and remove our access at the end. Where AI models are used, we choose setups that keep your data out of model training.

  • AI agents vs automation: what's the difference?

At Devvion, automation means steps that follow rules you can write down. An AI agent handles the steps where a person used to make a judgement call, like reading an unusual request. We automate the rules first and add agents only where they're needed.

  • Do you work with companies in the Gulf?

Yes. Devvion serves the Gulf, the Levant, North Africa and Europe from Switzerland and Portugal. We're on site for the start and the key weeks, and work remotely in between.

  • Do you work in Arabic?

Yes. Devvion runs workshops and interviews in Arabic and English, and writes procedures, interfaces and AI prompts in both, including right-to-left layouts.

  • How many clients do you take on at once?

Devvion works with a handful of clients at a time, at most, and keeps it that way on purpose. The people you meet stay on your work from the first day to the last, so we cap how many engagements run at once.

  • Which systems do you work with?

Devvion works with whatever you already run: ERP, CRM, accounting, HR, project and e-commerce tools, spreadsheets and email. We connect them rather than replace them, and recommend a new system only when keeping the old one costs more.
