Lower overhead in Kuwait.

For mid-sized companies, without cutting the people who matter. We step in as your operating expert to assess where the hours go and redesign the work, then as your engineers to automate it inside your systems. The people you meet stay on your work from the first day to the last.

02 · What we see in Kuwait

What we see in Kuwait

  • Without an outside deadline, overhead grows quietly.

Nothing external forces a systems project here, so admin headcount tends to grow instead. Owners tell us the same thing in different words: more people in the back office every year, and nobody can say where the hours go.

  • Family groups run many branches on evening phone calls.

Retail, F&B and trading groups often collect branch numbers by phone or message every evening. Management sees yesterday's picture the next afternoon, if the figures add up at all.

  • Owners are learning about AI faster than their systems can use it.

The National Fund for SME Development's Mubader Plus programme, now in its second season, includes workshops on AI, financial management and governance. The appetite is there. What's missing is clean data and connected systems for an AI step to work on.

03 · Local rules we design for

Local rules we design for

  • No VAT and no e-invoicing, as of October 2026

Kuwait has no VAT and no e-invoicing requirement as of October 2026, so our work here is about cost. If a mandate is announced, structured invoice data makes it a configuration job, not a project.

  • CITRA Data Privacy Protection Regulation 26 of 2024

In force since 1 January 2025 for CITRA licensees, it requires consent, security measures and breach notice within 24 hours. If you sell to telecoms or IT providers, expect their questionnaires to ask how your systems handle personal data. Each workflow we build lists the personal data it touches.

04 · Where we usually start

Where we usually start

  1. An overhead review before any cut

We count the admin hours per process, cost them, and show which steps exist only to move data between systems. You get one overhead number and a ranked list of what to remove, redesign or automate.

    Tools: Excel · Power BI

  2. Purchase approvals without the email chain

Each purchase request is checked against budget and routed to one approver by a written rule, with reminders instead of follow-up calls. Example: a 200-person distributor spending 46 hours a week chasing approvals brought it down to 9, giving back 37.

Tools: Outlook · Microsoft Dynamics 365 · SAP Business One · Excel

  3. WhatsApp customer service in Kuwaiti Arabic

An AI agent answers routine questions on order status, opening hours and stock, in Arabic and English, using your live data. Anything unusual goes to a person with the conversation attached.

Tools: WhatsApp Business · Odoo · Zoho CRM

05 · How we work with Kuwaiti companies

How we work with Kuwaiti companies

  • Business consulting and forward-deployed engineering both start with the two-week assessment. Forward-deployed means our engineer works inside your business, not from a ticket queue.
  • The people you meet stay on your work from the first day to the last, in Arabic and English, including Kuwaiti dialect in customer-facing automations.
  • We work from Switzerland and Portugal, one or two hours behind Kuwait, with on-site weeks planned around the work.
  • The contract is with Devvion Inc., a Delaware company. We hold no office in Kuwait.

06 · Questions Kuwaiti buyers ask us

Questions Kuwaiti buyers ask us

  • Can we hire you for consulting without automation?

Yes, Devvion's business consulting stands on its own in Kuwait. We assess and map how the work runs, then write the SOPs, roles, controls and KPIs, usually in 4 to 12 weeks. Many cost problems are solved by redesign alone; we automate only where it pays.

  • How can we reduce operating costs without layoffs?

Devvion reduces operating costs for Kuwaiti companies by removing work, not people. We take out the steps that only move data between systems, and the hours go to work your team never had time for. We say this to your staff on day one.

  • What does your work in Kuwait usually focus on?

Devvion's work in Kuwait is mostly about cost: fewer admin hours, fewer errors and a faster month-end. The rules we track for clients there, including what has not been introduced yet, are in the local rules section of this page. If something new is announced, your data will already be in order.

  • Are you ISO 9001 consultants in Kuwait?

Devvion gets Kuwaiti companies ready for ISO 9001 as part of process work: we document how each process actually runs, automate the records an auditor checks, and close the gaps. Devvion is not ISO certified and does not issue certificates; an accredited body does.

  • Do you build an AI agent for WhatsApp Business?

Yes, Devvion builds WhatsApp Business AI agents for companies in Kuwait, connected to your ERP or CRM so answers come from live data. We start with the questions your team answers most often and hand anything unusual to a person.

  • How does it start, and what does it cost?

Devvion starts every Kuwait engagement with the two-week assessment, whose fee we share on a first call and credit if you continue. Consulting then runs 4 to 12 weeks and engineering 6 to 16. We don't publish prices because scope differs by company.
