Automation that fits Bahrain.

For mid-sized companies, starting with an assessment. Tamkeen makes software cheaper to buy; making it work together is still on you. We step in as your operating expert to map and fix the process, then as your engineers to connect the tools. The people you meet stay on your work from the first day to the last.

02 · What we see in Bahrain

What we see in Bahrain

  • Tamkeen now covers up to half of eligible software and service costs.

Tamkeen's enhanced Digital Enablement and AI Programme, announced in September 2026, covers up to 50% of eligible costs for software and related services for micro, small and medium enterprises. Support runs through approved solutions and providers, so check eligibility before you scope a project around it.

  • Enquiries arrive everywhere, and some never get an answer.

Leads come in on WhatsApp, Instagram and the website form. Without one owner and one list, some wait days for a reply, and nobody notices until a customer says so.

  • The month-end pack is built by hand.

In many mid-sized firms, one person in finance assembles the management pack from ledger, payroll and sales exports. It arrives late, and owners decide on numbers they can't easily question.

03 · Local rules we design for

Local rules we design for

  • E-invoicing framework drafted, voluntary for now

Bahrain's National Bureau for Revenue has drafted an e-invoicing framework built on UBL 2.1 with QR codes. No mandatory dates have been set as of October 2026, and voluntary adoption is permitted. Structured invoice data is worth fixing before a date appears.

  • Personal Data Protection Law (Law 30 of 2018)

The law has applied for years, but most companies wrote their policies before AI tools arrived. An agent that reads emails, CVs or customer files is new processing, and it needs a lawful basis and a retention rule before it goes live.

04 · Where we usually start

Where we usually start

  1. A month-end close, redesigned

We map the close as it runs today, set a calendar with one owner per step, and write the checks finance signs off. Then the management pack builds itself from the ledger, payroll and sales system, with variances flagged in plain language.

Tools: Zoho Books · Odoo · Power BI

  2. Bank reconciliation in Zoho Books, done daily

Bank feeds are matched to customer payments and supplier bills by rule, with an AI step for references that don't match exactly. Your accountant reviews a short exception list instead of the whole statement at month-end.

    Tools: Zoho Books · Excel

  3. Leads from WhatsApp and web forms into one CRM

Enquiries from WhatsApp, Instagram and the website form land in one pipeline, matched to what you already know, and each is assigned to a person with a response deadline.

Tools: WhatsApp Business · Zoho CRM · Zoho Books

05 · How we work with Bahraini teams

How we work with Bahraini teams

  • Business consulting and forward-deployed engineering both start with the two-week assessment. Forward-deployed means our engineer works inside your business, not from a ticket queue.
  • The people you meet stay on your work from the first day to the last, in Arabic and English.
  • We work from Switzerland and Portugal, one to two hours behind Manama, and spend on-site weeks there at the start and at key handovers.
  • Engagements are contracted with Devvion Inc. of Delaware. We have no office in Bahrain.

06 · Questions Bahraini buyers ask us

Questions Bahraini buyers ask us

  • Can we hire you for consulting without automation?

Yes, Devvion's business consulting stands on its own in Bahrain. We assess and map how the work runs, then write the SOPs, roles, controls and KPIs, usually in 4 to 12 weeks. If automation makes sense afterwards, the same people stay on it.

  • Does Tamkeen support cover this kind of work?

Devvion is not a Tamkeen-approved provider in Bahrain, so we can't promise support for our own fees. Software you license through the programme may qualify for up to 50% coverage. We can build around those approved tools and connect them to your other systems.

  • How do you prepare for Bahraini rules that are still drafts?

Devvion follows Bahrain's draft rules for its clients and lists each one, with its status, in the local rules section of this page. Where no date is set, we tidy the underlying data now, so the change is small when a date arrives.

  • Do you work with Zoho in Bahrain?

Yes, Devvion automates Zoho Books and Zoho CRM for companies in Bahrain, and connects them to WhatsApp, banks and other systems. We work inside the setup you have rather than asking you to move to something new.

  • Are you ISO 9001 consultants in Bahrain?

Devvion gets Bahraini companies ready for ISO 9001 by documenting real processes, automating the quality records and closing gaps before the certification audit. Devvion holds no ISO certification and issues none; your certificate comes from an accredited body.

  • How does it start, and what does it cost?

Devvion starts with the two-week assessment for Bahraini companies. The fee is shared on a first call and credited if you continue. Consulting then runs 4 to 12 weeks and engineering 6 to 16. We don't publish prices because scope differs by company.
