Systems that fit the work in Qatar.

For growing companies. We step in as your operating expert to assess and map how work moves between sales, finance and HR, then as your engineers to automate it inside the systems you already pay for. The people you meet stay on your work from the first day to the last.

02 · What we see in Qatar

What we see in Qatar

  • Project work, and quotes against the clock.

Contracting and trading firms in Doha answer requests for quotation all week, each one priced by hand from last year's spreadsheet. Speed wins the work, yet few can say how long a quote takes or how many were lost while waiting.

  • SMEs are buying software faster than they connect it.

MCIT's SMEs Go Digital programme, open to firms of up to 250 staff and QAR 100 million in revenue, saw 30 digital solutions adopted in 2025, from ERP to e-commerce. Each new tool is useful alone. Together they often mean the same order typed three times.

  • Large teams mean admin that runs on fixed dates.

Multinational workforces bring residence permits, licences and contracts that must be renewed on time. Those dates often sit in one person's spreadsheet. When that person is away, renewals slip and work stops.

03 · Local rules we design for

Local rules we design for

  • E-invoicing law approved in draft, no dates yet

Qatar's Cabinet approved a draft e-invoicing law and its executive regulations on 6 May 2026, prepared by the Ministry of Finance and the General Tax Authority. No timetable or technical format has been published. Until it is, clean invoice data is the useful work; the connection follows the format.

  • Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (Law 13 of 2016)

The law covers customer and employee records, with guidance from the National Cyber Security Agency. Automations that read CVs, ID copies or customer files get consent, purpose and retention settled before they go live, documented for your compliance team.

04 · Where we usually start

Where we usually start

  1. A systems review before the next purchase

We list every tool you pay for, map which process each one serves and where data is typed twice, then recommend what to keep, connect or drop. You decide from a written view, not a vendor demo.

Tools: Excel · SharePoint · Microsoft Teams

  2. Quotations built from the RFQ, not from scratch

An AI step pulls the line items from the request, prices them from your list, and drafts the quote for a person to check and send. Turnaround is measured, so you can see what changed.

Tools: Outlook · SharePoint · Excel · Microsoft Dynamics 365

  3. Permit and document renewals tracked automatically

Residence permits, licences and contracts move from a spreadsheet into one tracker that warns the right person 60 days ahead and gathers the documents needed for renewal.

Tools: Microsoft Teams · SharePoint · WhatsApp Business

05 · How we work with Qatari companies

How we work with Qatari companies

  • Business consulting and forward-deployed engineering both start with the two-week assessment. Forward-deployed means our engineer works inside your business, not from a ticket queue.
  • The people you meet stay on your work from the first day to the last, in English or Arabic, whichever your team uses for that process.
  • We work from Switzerland and Portugal, one to two hours behind Doha, and come in for on-site weeks at the points where presence matters.
  • Contracts are signed with Devvion Inc., incorporated in Delaware. There is no Devvion office in Qatar.

06 · Questions buyers in Qatar ask us

Questions buyers in Qatar ask us

  • Do you offer consulting on its own, or only build?

Devvion does both in Qatar, and you can buy the consulting alone. Business consulting assesses, maps and redesigns how the work runs over 4 to 12 weeks. Forward-deployed engineering then automates it, with our engineer working inside your business, not from a ticket queue.

  • How do you handle Qatari rules that aren't final yet?

Devvion tracks Qatari rules that are approved but not yet dated, and lists each one with its source in the local rules section of this page. We do the preparation that pays off either way now, and build the final connection once the details are published.

  • Can SMEs Go Digital cover the cost?

Devvion is not an SMEs Go Digital partner in Qatar, so we cannot promise programme support. If your company qualifies, MCIT matches SMEs with listed providers; we can work alongside the tools you adopt through it and connect them to the rest of your systems.

  • Which ERP systems do you work with in Doha?

Devvion works with the ERPs Qatari mid-sized companies already run, most often Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP Business One and Odoo. We don't ask you to switch. We automate around what you have and tell you plainly if something needs replacing.

  • Who works on our account?

Devvion keeps the same people on your work from the first day to the last. In Qatar, the people who run your assessment are the ones who redesign the process and build the automation. We take a handful of clients at a time, at most, so that holds.

  • What happens during the two-week assessment?

Devvion's assessment in Qatar starts with interviews, a systems inventory and walk-throughs with the people who do the work. You get a maturity score per process, an overhead number and ranked opportunities. The fee is shared on a first call and credited if you continue.
