Ready to grow in Saudi Arabia.

Consulting and automation for the next stage of growth. We step in as your operating expert to assess, map and set how the work should run, then as your engineers to automate it inside your systems in Riyadh, Jeddah or Dammam. The people you meet stay on your work from the first day to the last.

02 · What we see in Saudi Arabia

What we see in Saudi Arabia

  • Growth outpaces the way decisions are made.

Companies here go from 50 to 150 people in a few years, and the owner still signs most things. Approvals queue on one desk, and managers wait instead of deciding. Writing down who decides what is usually the first fix, before any new software.

  • Family businesses are professionalising.

Many mid-sized Saudi companies are family-owned, with a second generation stepping in. They want governance, KPIs and roles that don't depend on who is related to whom, without losing the speed that built the business.

  • Apps were adopted fast and are joined up by people.

Local accounting apps, online stores and stock tools went live quickly. Staff connect them by retyping orders, exporting spreadsheets and chasing confirmations on WhatsApp. The work gets done, but the hours grow with every new branch.

  • E-invoicing Phase 2: Wave 25

On 24 July 2026, ZATCA announced that any business with VAT-able revenue above SAR 187,500 in any year from 2022 to 2025 must integrate with FATOORA by 1 February 2027. ZATCA notifies each taxpayer at the email registered with it. We connect Odoo, Zoho Books, SAP Business One or Business Central through a compliant solution you select; we are not a solution provider. We check tax settings and customer data, test in the simulation environment, then go live with an alert on every rejection.

  • Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL)

SDAIA's PDPL has applied in full since 14 September 2024, with rules on appointing a data protection officer. Every automation that handles customer or employee data gets a record of what it reads, where it stores it and who can see it.

  • Transfers abroad and AI tools

Sending personal data outside the Kingdom is governed by its own regulation, and SDAIA issued a risk assessment guideline for those transfers in February 2025. Most off-the-shelf AI tools run on servers abroad, so we decide before building which data leaves and which stays.

04 · Where we usually start

Where we usually start

  1. Decision rights and approvals before the next hire

We map who approves what today, agree limits by role and amount with the owners, and write them into an approval matrix and SOPs. Then the system routes requests by rule, and the owner signs only what needs the owner.

Tools: Microsoft Teams · SharePoint · Odoo

  2. Salla and Zid orders straight into stock

Each online order is recorded in the ERP and stock is reserved without anyone typing it twice. Returns and stuck orders go to one person with the history attached.

Tools: Salla · Zid · Odoo · Qoyod

  3. Collections over WhatsApp, in Arabic

Statements and reminders go out on schedule. An AI agent reads each reply and sorts it: promise to pay, dispute, or a request for a copy. Your collections team only sees the replies that need a decision.

Tools: WhatsApp Business · Daftra · Wafeq · Zoho Books

05 · How we work with Saudi companies

How we work with Saudi companies

  • Business consulting and forward-deployed engineering both start with the two-week assessment. Forward-deployed means our engineer works inside your business, not from a ticket queue.
  • The people you meet stay on your work from the first day to the last. We work in Arabic first, and in English with technical teams that prefer it.
  • We work from Switzerland and Portugal, one to two hours behind the Kingdom, and travel in for scheduled on-site weeks.
  • Your contract is with Devvion Inc., registered in Delaware. We do not have an office in Saudi Arabia.

06 · Questions Saudi buyers ask us

Questions Saudi buyers ask us

  • Can we hire you for consulting without automation?

Yes, Devvion's business consulting stands on its own in Saudi Arabia. We assess and map how the work runs, then write the SOPs, roles, controls and KPIs, usually in 4 to 12 weeks. If you want automation afterwards, the same people stay on the work.

  • Can you help a family business professionalise?

Yes, Devvion's consulting in Saudi Arabia often starts there. We map how decisions are made today, then write the roles, decision rights, KPIs and management reporting rhythm that the family and the managers both agree on. The people who ran the assessment stay until the change holds.

  • How do you keep up with Saudi regulation?

Devvion tracks the Saudi rules that touch your operation and lists them, with dates and sources, in the local rules section of this page. We check them before we design anything and again before go-live, and we tell you early when a deadline affects your team.

  • Are you an AI development company in Riyadh?

Devvion builds AI automation for Saudi companies, including in Riyadh, but it is not a software house that hands over a project and leaves. Our engineer works inside your business, adds AI only where a person was making a judgement call, and leaves documentation and trained staff.

  • Are you ISO 27001 consultants in Saudi Arabia?

Devvion gets Saudi companies ready for ISO 27001: data flows mapped, controls written, evidence collected by the systems themselves. Devvion is not ISO certified and does not certify anyone; an accredited certification body runs your certification audit.

  • How does it start, and what does it cost?

Devvion starts in Saudi Arabia with the two-week assessment. We give you the fee on a first call, and it is credited in full if we continue together. Consulting then runs 4 to 12 weeks and engineering 6 to 16. We don't publish prices because scope differs by company.

Two weeks to see how the work really runs.

You leave the assessment with a maturity score per process, an overhead number and a ranked list of what to fix first. The fee comes up on the first call and is credited if you go ahead.
