Less retyping in Senegal.

And cash you can read every day. We step in as operators: a two-week assessment, then we map the real work, set the rules and automate what shouldn't be manual. The people you meet stay on your work from the first day to the last.

02 · What we see in Senegal

What we see in Senegal

  • Mobile money still gets matched by hand.

Customers pay by Wave, Orange Money or transfer, often with no usable reference, and finance matches them in Excel at month-end. Management sees the real cash position after the fact.

  • Decisions travel by WhatsApp.

Approvals, discounts and exceptions are settled in chat groups. Nobody can find who decided what, and the management system gets updated later, if at all.

  • Growth is outpacing the organisation.

Companies passing 100 people still run on the founder's memory and a few long-serving managers. A new line of business or a second site copies the same habits, with no written procedures.

03 · Local rules we design for

Local rules we design for

  • E-invoicing: the 2025 finance law

The 2025 finance law requires taxable businesses to issue electronic invoices through a public portal, a dematerialisation platform or approved machines. The practical rules are left to a ministerial order. Fines reach 25 percent of the VAT invoiced, capped at 5 million FCFA per invoice. Check your date with the DGID or your tax adviser. Once the rules are published, we connect Sage, Odoo or SAP Business One to your approved provider or the authority's platform, after fixing NINEA numbers, VAT rates and mandatory mentions; we are not an approved provider.

  • SenTimbre, the only channel for tax stamps

SenTimbre became the only official channel for tax stamps on 20 July 2026, with old stamps accepted until 15 August 2026. Every procedure that goes digital assumes the company's own data is already in order.

  • Personal data: the 2008 law and the CDP

Personal data is covered by the 2008 law and the CDP. In practice, customer and HR files travel by email and WhatsApp, so each process we automate records which data it touches.

04 · Where we usually start

Where we usually start

  1. Procedures and delegations written down

Interviews and walk-throughs, then maps of the key processes. We write the procedures, roles and approval limits with your teams, so the company stops resting on a few people's memory.

  2. A monthly report in five days

We agree the ten numbers leadership needs, pull them from the ERP and the payment feeds on a fixed day, and send one short report with an owner for each gap. Decisions move from WhatsApp threads to a monthly review where everyone sees the same figures.

Tools: Sage · Odoo · Power BI

  3. Wave and Orange Money collections reconciled

Payment feeds arrive daily. Rules match well-referenced payments; an AI step suggests a match for the others, which your accountant accepts or corrects.

05 · How we work with teams in Senegal

How we work with teams in Senegal

  • We work remotely from Switzerland and Portugal and travel to Dakar for on-site weeks when the work requires it. Devvion has no office in Senegal.
  • We bring large-enterprise operations discipline down to your size. Forward-deployed means our engineer works inside your business, not from a ticket queue.
  • Dakar stays on UTC+0, matching Portugal in winter and one to two hours behind Switzerland. We work in English, and the documentation handed to your teams can be written in French.
  • Your contract is signed with Devvion Inc., a Delaware company. We connect your ERP to your approved provider or the DGID platform; we are not an approved provider.

06 · Questions from companies in Senegal

Questions from companies in Senegal

  • Can you help us without automating anything?

Devvion's business consulting in Senegal often stops before any code. We assess, map the processes, write procedures, delegations and KPIs, and get you ready for ISO 9001 or 27001 if needed. Automation can follow, with us, with someone else, or not at all.

  • Which local rules do you design for?

Devvion designs for the Senegalese rules listed on this page, each with its source. Where the practical rules still wait on a ministerial order, we say so and check your dates with the DGID or your adviser. Where a rule needs an approved provider, we connect your ERP to it and are not one ourselves.

  • Can you automate Wave and Orange Money reconciliation?

Devvion automates reconciliation of Wave, Orange Money and bank collections in Senegal. Payments with good references post on their own; for the rest, a match is suggested and your accountant decides.

  • Where does AI actually fit?

Devvion uses AI in Senegal only where a person reads a document and decides, such as reading a supplier document or making sense of a payment description. Everything else is ordinary automation, cheaper and easier to check.

  • What is the first step, and how long does it run?

Devvion starts each engagement in Senegal with a paid two-week assessment that ends in a maturity score per process, credited if you go on. Consulting then runs 4 to 12 weeks and engineering 6 to 16.

  • Who owns the result?

Devvion's clients in Senegal own all of it: code, workflows, access and documentation, hosted in their own accounts. If we stop working together, everything keeps running.
