Côte d'Ivoire · Abidjan, UTC+0

Faster cycles in Côte d'Ivoire.

And one clear view of every site. We step in as operators: a two-week assessment, then we map the real work, set one standard and automate what shouldn't be manual. The people you meet stay on your work from the first day to the last.

02 · What we see in Côte d'Ivoire

What we see in Côte d'Ivoire

  • Head office is in Abidjan; the business is everywhere.

Depots, shops or sites run across the country, each with its own spreadsheet and habits. The consolidated view arrives weeks later, and the gaps between sites stay unexplained.

  • Approvals go round by email and phone.

Purchase requests, discounts and expenses wait for a signature that depends on one diary. Nobody knows where a request stands without calling, and suppliers chase before you do.

  • Mobile money arrives with rough descriptions.

Orange Money, MTN MoMo, Wave and bank transfers mix on the statements. Accounting matches them by hand, and the real cash position is known only at month-end.

03 · Local rules we design for

Local rules we design for

  • FNE e-invoicing since July 2025

The tax authority officially launched the facture normalisée électronique (FNE) on 21 July 2025, under the 2025 tax annex. The obligation applies regime by regime: invoices are issued through the authority's platform or through software connected to it. Your tax adviser confirms your dates. We connect Sage, Odoo or SAP Business One to the FNE platform or your approved provider, with tax identifiers, items and rates cleaned first and each FNE reference stored back in the ERP; we are not approved by the DGI.

  • Paper standardised invoices no longer accepted

For companies under the real regime, the tolerance for paper standardised invoices ended in December 2025. Only FNE invoices now support a deductible expense or input VAT. A supplier still sending ordinary invoices costs you the deduction.

  • Personal data: Law 2013-450 and ARTCI

Law 2013-450 of 19 June 2013 requires processing of personal data to be declared to, or authorised by, ARTCI beforehand. In practice, customer and HR files move by email and WhatsApp with no current register.

04 · Where we usually start

Where we usually start

  1. One operating standard for every site

We watch your best and weakest sites, then write one standard: daily routines, cash handling, approval limits and the KPIs head office reviews. New sites open on it.

  2. Approvals in one flow, from every site

Spending, discounts and supplier requests from every site go through one approval flow on the phone, with limits by amount. Head office sees what is waiting and on whom, and nothing gets approved twice.

    Tools: Microsoft 365 · Odoo · Sage

  3. Mobile money collections reconciled

Rules take the clear cases; AI proposes a match for the rest, and your accountant confirms.

05 · How we work with teams in Côte d'Ivoire

How we work with teams in Côte d'Ivoire

  • We are based remotely in Switzerland and Portugal and spend on-site weeks in Abidjan at the moments that matter. Devvion has no office in Côte d'Ivoire.
  • We bring large-enterprise operations discipline down to your size. Forward-deployed means our engineer works inside your business, not from a ticket queue.
  • Abidjan is on UTC+0, the same as Lisbon in winter and one to two hours off Zurich. We work in English, and documentation for your teams can be delivered in French.
  • Devvion Inc., a Delaware corporation, is the party you contract with. Where a local rule runs through the authority's platform or an approved provider, we connect your ERP to it; we are not an approved provider.

06 · Questions from companies in Côte d'Ivoire

Questions from companies in Côte d'Ivoire

  • Can you help us without automating anything?

Devvion's business consulting in Côte d'Ivoire often stops before any code. We assess, map the processes, write standards, delegations and KPIs, and get you ready for ISO 9001 or 27001 if needed. Automation can follow, with us, with someone else, or not at all.

  • Which local rules do you design for?

Devvion designs for the Ivorian rules listed on this page, each with its source; most apply regime by regime, and your adviser confirms your dates. Where a rule runs through the authority's platform or an approved provider, we connect your ERP to it. Devvion is not an approved provider.

  • Can you reconcile mobile money automatically?

Devvion automates reconciliation of Orange Money, MTN MoMo, Wave and bank collections in Côte d'Ivoire. Well-referenced payments post on their own; for the rest, a match is suggested and your accountant confirms.

  • Where does AI come in?

Devvion adds AI in Côte d'Ivoire only where a person reads and decides, such as reading a supplier document or a vague payment description. The rest is ordinary automation, cheaper and easier to check.

  • How does an engagement start, and how long does it run?

Devvion starts in Côte d'Ivoire with a paid two-week assessment and a maturity score per process. We give the fee on the first call, and it is credited if you continue. Consulting then runs 4 to 12 weeks and engineering 6 to 16.

  • Do you work with small companies?

Devvion works in Côte d'Ivoire with companies of 50 to 500 people, and with only a few clients at once. For smaller firms, well-configured standard software is often enough.
