Lower overhead · Consulting
Our margins are shrinking.
And nobody can say where. Revenue holds, profit slips, and every department has a different explanation. We trace where the money leaks and put controls on the few points that matter.
What it looked like
- Gross margin down two points in a year, with no single cause anyone agrees on.
- Buyers reorder by feel, so some lines sit for months while others run out.
- Discounts and supplier choices are made in chats and never reviewed.

- Assess
Two weeks of interviews and data pulls to rank margin leaks by size: stock, discounts, purchasing, rework.
- Map
We map purchasing and replenishment as they really run, including who decides and on what numbers.
- Mature
Reorder points, approved suppliers, discount limits and a monthly margin review, written as SOPs with owners.
03 · The process
Inventory replenishment
Sales velocity sets the reorder point, suppliers quote, a buyer picks, and the PO goes out before the shelf is empty.

Questions
Is this a cost-cutting exercise?
No, Devvion looks for money lost to the way work runs: excess stock, unreviewed discounts, buying outside agreed terms. Most of it is recovered by changing decisions and controls, not headcount.
Do you need access to our accounts?
Devvion needs read access to sales, purchasing and stock data for the assessment, under an NDA. We work from your systems and exports; nothing leaves your control, and we hand back every model we build.
